SalaryThe individual will sit in the Investor Reporting team and be working with the firm’s data operations to create solutions and build strong ETL processes. The candidate will join an already established team where they will be able to contribute in a meaningful way. The Data Analyst will interact internally with the Loan Administration, Asset Management and IT teams of the firm as well as externally with the clients to understand the pain points of reporting and look to build automated solutions.
Core responsibilities:
- Provide support and back up to data operations understanding the current processes.
- Assist data operations building automated pipelines within the azure environment.
- Assist data operations building in maintaining the data warehouse.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to understand the current pain points around reporting and assist with offering solutions where data operations can intervene.
- Work closely with Dev ops to strategize and build the best solutions to existing problems.
- Help prepare and collate information using SQL/ Python to answer ad hoc queries for the business.
The Candidate:
- Good Excel knowledge
- Good understanding of SQL
- Basic understanding of python
- Basic knowledge of Power BI or any data visualization tool
- Basic knowledge of cloud infrastructure
- Basic knowledge of transactional databases and data warehouses
The candidate must be able to organise their day and perform several tasks on a timely basis, working in a team environment with good communication (both written and oral).
