JOB TITLE: Associate Director - EMEA - Southern Europe & Latin America (Latam)
LOCATION:Gresham Street, London.
HOURS:Full-time
WORKING PATTERN:Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at our London office.

The Global Banks & Group team provide critical relationship coverage for Banks across the world as well as to our own Group Subsidiaries. The Banks team has a geographical coverage model broadly across EMEA, Asia, UK and North America. Our critical Banking relationships cover a full suite of products across Transaction Banking services, liquidity, Repo, FX, Rates, Structured Solutions and DCM.
As an Associate Director in the EMEA team you’ll be
- Leading and growing a portfolio of Southern Europe & Latam banks.
- Create/develop and originate business leads to maximise business opportunities and growth for the Group.
- Supporting the overall growth of revenue.
- Originating new business.
- Managing senior partner relationships.
- Ensuring the team is maximising client relationship value to deepen the wallet across the portfolio.
- Promoting the team franchise with internal and external partners, collaborating closely with product and delivery to maximise impact and opportunities.
By building strong, balanced client and partner relationships, this role directly contributes to client revenue generation, whilst ensuring the effective management of risk. You’ll play a lead role in developing LBG’s profile in the market to attract new business and enhance relationships with existing clients.
What you’ll need
- Experience leading a portfolio of client relationships and supporting overall EMEA portfolio strategy to optimise income generation and business objectives, in particular balancing income and risk.
- Understanding of regulatory framework/requirements within which the business operates (FCA and wider regulatory framework including EU and international, as well as Legal framework).
- Awareness of wider business, economic, political and market environment (domestic and international) in LBG and wider financial services industry.
- Knowledge of the key product suite that Lloyds can offer both from Lloyds Bank and Lloyds Bank Corporate Markets, relevant for our client base. Important to have experience of Transaction Banking and CB Markets products.

This role is considered Certified under the Senior Manager and Certification Regime as either requiring mandatory qualifications or being deemed as a role capable of providing ‘significant harm’ to customers. Due to this, successful candidates will be subject to enhanced levels of vetting, and required to complete a fitness and propriety attestation on commencement in role. Colleagues performing this role will be required to be complete a fitness and propriety attestation on an annual basis and will also be subject to additional routine criminal and credit checks

This role has been identified as a Client-dealing function under SYSC 27.8.18R as defined in the FCA Handbook
The Person (“P”) performs the client-dealing FCA certification function for a firm if:(1) P is carrying out any of the activities in the table in SYSC 27.8.19R; and(2) those activities will involve P dealing with:(a) a person with or for whom those activities are carried out; or(b) the property of any such person;in a manner substantially connected with the carrying on of regulated activities by the firm.
If you manage certified colleagues this role will be identified as Manager of certification employees under SYSC 27.8.13R as defined in the FCA Handbook(1) The function of managing or supervising a certification employee, directly or indirectly, is an FCA-specified significant-harm function.(2) A function in (1) is not an FCA certification function for that firm if it is performed by an SMF manager of that firm.
