Key Responsibilities:
Client Management: Oversee a portfolio of high net worth personal, trust, and estate clients, managing their UK tax reporting requirements and providing timely, quality service.
Tax Compliance: Budget, plan, and ensure the timely delivery of tax compliance work, including reviewing and signing off on tax comps, returns, and reporting requirements.
Technical Assistance: Provide technical support to queries from other teams, conduct quality reviews of Private Client team output, and offer technical assistance in tax planning and ad-hoc projects.
Client Engagement: Handle client queries, identify potential issues, and consider non-Private Client tax implications while proactively marketing the firm's Private Client expertise.
Business Development: Actively contribute to marketing initiatives, produce technical updates, present at internal and external events, and explore opportunities for cross-selling services.
Mentorship: Provide constructive feedback to Private Client team members, mentor and coach junior team members, and contribute to their professional and technical development.
Qualifications:
CTA Qualified: Chartered Tax Adviser qualification.
UK Tax Expertise: Full knowledge of UK tax matters related to Private Clients and professional practices.
Networking Skills: Excellent networking capabilities with a keen interest in developing the networking skills of junior team members.
Client Advisory Experience: Experience in advising High Net Worth (HNW) and Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) individuals.
Cross-Selling: Ability to recognize cross-selling opportunities.
Training and Development: Willingness and ability to train and develop other team members both professionally and technically.
