Job description

This role is responsible and accountable for the delivery of all programmatic revenue across JCDecaux UK. You are responsible for leading and delivering strategic agency and trade desk partnerships, and creating professional and profitable relationships with digital partners to generate maximum revenue for the company.
In partnership with the Head of Programmatic you will contribute to and implement the team strategy, delivering tailored education programmes which demonstrate an understanding of marketing objectives to ultimately drive demand into programmatic OOH.
You will work with and support the national sales team in driving programmatic revenue across the JCDecaux portfolio via all RTB routes to market.
What you'll be doing...
Demand Generation & Revenue Performance
  • Strong understanding of digital ecosystems to demonstrably drive revenue via programmatic means.
  • Proven knowledge of marketing objectives and tactics to influence the media decision.
  • Establish relationships with Media and Digital Agencies, Clients and Tradedesks to grow programmatic revenue for JCDecaux.
  • Active involvement in tailored client planning sessions, hosting, presenting and educating key partners about programmatic OOH’s role in the media mix, with a focus on accessing Digital budgets in line with our wider business narrative.
  • Use reporting systems such as Connect for Sales to monitor demand and inform commercial activity/priorities.
  • Show awareness of strengths and weaknesses of other media and a detailed understanding of clients’ business, marketing and media objectives.
  • Devise engagement plans and business development strategies, sales reporting, and revenue forecasts to hit pre-determined revenue targets for team programmatic and in partnership with national sales.
Team Motivation and Management
  • Coordinate recruitment, development, motivation, and management of team members using important metrics to measure business outcomes.
  • Champion a culture and behaviours that deliver collaboration, innovation, creativity and personal accountability across the team.
  • Create a feedback culture where we proudly and collectively learn from mistakes
  • Oversee the production and delivery of annual business plans based on JCDecaux’s programmatic needs and challenges.
  • Actively support individuals to develop skills and experience in order to progress their careers within the organisation.

Knowledge of Media and Marketing
  • Understand the media supply chain and the ecosystems that exists within it.
  • Strong technical knowledge of programmatic, with an ability to simplify and communicate in a clear, jargon-free manner that focusses on the customer benefit.
  • Understand media planning concepts and marketing tactics, such as those included within our "The Time is Now" research publication.
Qualifications
  • Established in their field for media (and preferably digital and OOH media).
  • Manages customer-led and commercially focused teams.
  • Extensive understanding of business, financials, products/services, the market or the needs/challenges of operational OOH media delivery.
  • Demonstrate having successfully worked with complex or high-profile customers and accounts as team leader.
  • Track record delivering revenue in a growth market.
