As an Associate Game Designer within the F1 Live Ops team, you will report to the Senior Game Designer responsible for leading our live service vision for the F1 series, working with the annual development team Design Leads and Live Ops Senior Producer. Your Responsibilities

  • Work with the Senior Games Designer to form the long-term creative vision for the F1 series in live service.
  • Collaborate with all team disciplines, including artists, QV, engineers, and producers to get support from the team and guide a feature from initial design to live service.
  • Collaborate with designers on the annual teams to understand the potential and long-term vision for existing and upcoming features.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of design documentation, including game design documents, and design briefs.
  • Design complex systems and tune them for specific goals.
  • Inspire and motivate the team to achieve high-quality within constraints.
  • Take a holistic approach to quality and delivery to ensure that the feature set and corresponding execution creates the best possible product.
  • Use qualitative and quantitative methods to validate and improve ideas.

Your Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience as a Designer working in medium/large teams within the video game industry.
  • Experience of console/mobile game development.
  • Understand why an idea will or won't work and how to quantify the results.
  • Design and implementation experience with game features that have a live service/economy management component.

We are a global team of creators, storytellers, technologists, experience originators, innovators and so much more. We believe amazing games and experiences start with teams as diverse as the players and communities we serve. At Electronic Arts, the only limit is your imagination.
