Associate Quantity Surveying/Project Management
Building Design Services are Hull City Councils Construction Consultancy Department providing a comprehensive range of construction services covering Operational, Commercial and Housing portfolios and include architecture, building and QUANTITY SURVEYING, mechanical, electrical, and structural engineering, landscape architecture, compliance, property maintenance, asset management and land surveying.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, efficient, professional, and motivated individual to manage our Quantity Surveying and Project Management team. Your responsibilities will include usual line management duties, resource planning, recording and monitoring of all interim payment certificates, project delivery monitoring, tender document quality checks, client liaison & delivery of Quantity Surveying and/or Project Management services on capital projects. Reporting to the Director of Capital Services you will also provide input into project processes, commissioning of new projects, improvements in all areas of the department and maintain compliance with relevant regulations and legislation.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate:
Excellent NEC 3 and/or NEC 4 experience and knowledge.
Knowledge of the Public Contract Regulations.
Experience in people management.
Excellent communication skills.
Membership of the RICS or APM or be working towards obtaining membership.
Extensive Quantity Surveying and/or Project Management experience.
