We are currently seeking an experienced Associate or Associate Director CLO Structuring to join the Business within their Global banking & Markets division. The role will be based in London.

The role holder will also ensure the HSBC values are present in everything they do, both individually and as an organisation. Responsibilities:

-       Negotiate and structure warehouse financing facilities.
-       Coordinate internal processes to obtain approvals for HSBC providing senior financing in warehouse facilities.
-       Review and analyse target CLO portfolios to structure CLO liability stack. Liaise with CLO managers to suggest potential portfolio optimisations.
-       Structure and model CLO structures for CLO managers and investors.
-       During the CLO arranging process execute CLO transactions including documentation, modelling, rating agency analysis and marketing. This will require liaising with HSBC colleagues in syndicate, sales, trading, credit risk, market risk, legal and compliance and external parties like rating agencies, external counsels, investors, CLO manager, trustee, collateral administrator, etc.
-       Design and maintenance of analytics used by the desk (risk analysis and monitoring, tools used by the desk to structure and analyse CLOs etc).
-       Create marketing material for CLO managers and CLO investors.
-       Participate in CLO conferences and roadshow meetings with CLO investors.
-       Prepare materials for internal meetings, updates and approval.

Request

-    Excellent financial analytical skills and knowledge of ABS products.
-    Education in Finance or a Quantitative Discipline (e.g. Maths, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science), or equivalent work-related experience.
-    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-    Ability to multi-task and to work well under pressure, strong problem-solving and decision-making skills while operating in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
-    Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Powerpoint. Some experience of coding would be a plus.

The location for this role is London.
