Associate/Senior Associate - Insurance, Financial and Professional Disputes Team

Job Description

The professional liability team handles all aspects of professional liability claims and dispute resolution.

The team is looking for a candidate with a minimum of 5+ years’ PQE who will have the opportunity to manage claims for a wide range of professionals, with a particular focus on construction professionals, in the Sheriff Court and Court of Session, and gain exposure to ADR. Additionally, there will be opportunities to engage in business development.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing a caseload in compliance with service level agreements with insurers.
Assisting in the defence of high-value and complex claims.
Effectively communicating with clients and meeting deadlines and reporting requirements.
Performing advocacy in the Sheriff Court.
