Job description

Ralph Thoresby School is seeking to appoint a committed and friendly Administrative Assistant. The post is on a part time basis with candidates needing to be able to start at 8am due to the nature of the role. The post requires excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with children, colleagues, parents and visitors along with a good working knowledge of administration. The post holder will provide secretarial and administrative support across the school. Applicants will need to be excellent communicators well organised, and conscientious.

Duties include general clerical support and have good word processing/ICT skills. Knowledge of Arbor, First Aid or SEND would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.

A friendly, welcoming manner as well as accuracy and attention to detail are essential, along with the ability to work as part of a team and also on own initiative.
