This is a fantastic opportunity at a secondary school who are looking to appoint an Attendance Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting and entering all attendance data using the management information system in the school.
School Attendance Officer Key Responsibilities:

• Through the monitoring of the data, you will lead in the implementation of a range of strategies with key stakeholders, be responsible for helping to raise attendance and make a significant contribution to the ‘Every Child Matters’ outcomes.
• Daily you'll be in contact with students, various members of staff, parents and external agencies - this is a busy and fast-paced role.

School Attendance Officer Requirements:

• Experience of working with data systems preferably with SIMs within a school setting.
• Be able to keep up to date with best practice developments relating to data and information, including statutory procedures.
• Maintain high standards of consistency and accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
