Pearson Whiffin Education are looking for an Attendance Officer to join this wonderful secondary school located in the Canterbury area.
The successful candidate will be able to oversee the whole attendance process, spot when a student is not registered and act upon that. Candidates that demonstrate a proactive approach will be desirable.
This is a temporary role, starting at ASAP.
Previous experience in Attendance Officeris desired but not essential.
Requirements for this role are as follows:
- Monitor the school attendance procedures set out
- Monitor registers on a daily basis, inform students’ parents about absence/lateness
- Monitor school database, record attendance, and produce letters
- Effectively work with other staff members to promote good attendance and to achieve attendance targets
- Must be willing to complete or have an enhanced DBS.
