This is a great opportunity for an experienced Test Engineer to join our clients team! This is a very diverse role so if you have previous experience as a Test Engineer, an open mind, and the ability to adapt to an ever-changing industry, then this could be the role for you!
Duties include:
- Performing advanced test setups of both software and hardware and ensuring they meet requirements
- Creating and editing a variety of test programs, as well as debugging them
- Monitoring tests and interventions to capture data and report any faults
- Calibration and fault finding of test facility
- Set up and carry out maintenance on instrumentation
- Any other duties required
The successful candidate will have / be:
- An engineering qualification or experience in an engineering field
- A strong understanding of engine functions and then functionality of fuel injection systems
- Able to carry out calibration and machine commissioning
- The ability to program test equipment (National Instruments / AVL Puma) this is desirable, not essential
- Strong communication skills
- Computer literate MS Office
