Arthur Johnson and Sons is an established family run auction house, auctions are held every Saturday and consist of five salerooms selling a wide range of antique, vintage and contemporary items.
As a saleRoom Assistant you will work as part of a team interacting with clients to accept items for auction, preparing the saleroom, cataloguing and photographing items for sale as well as preparing descriptions ready for online publication for a weekly deadline.
The work will involve manual handling of saleroom items including large, heavy objects from furniture to delicate fragile objects.
