In response to sustained growth, a well-established manufacturer of commercial audio products is seeking an Audio Electronics Engineer to join their Electronics Engineering team. The focus of this role is the development of exceptionally high quality products, including digital amplifiers, zoned mixers, and PA systems. These products find applications in various commercial settings such as hotels, bars, restaurants and gyms.
Audio Electronics Engineer responsibilities:
As a key contributor, your role involves delivering electronics hardware across the entire lifecycle – from concept to production. This includes designing schematics, PCBs, debugging prototype hardware, and ensuring new designs are suitable for mass production. You'll also evaluate new technologies, drive innovation, and provide support for existing products.
This position offers the opportunity to directly shape the products through a significant level of technical ownership. The collaborative R&D team operates autonomously, boasting a diverse, cross-disciplinary skill set, fostering a dedicated and passionate work environment.
Audio Electronics Engineer requirements:
- Experience in analogue and digital circuit design
- Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB design
- Familiarity with Audio DSP and Digital Audio connectivity
- Strong teamwork and communication skills; sociable and engaging
- Batchelors degree in Electronics, Hardware Engineering or similar would be advantageous
