It is essential that you have experience working with and installing Audio-Visual equipment for this role.
(Audio-Visual Support Engineer) - Position Overview
- Plan and carry out service visits, providing remote technical support and generating comprehensive service reports/
- Deliver telephone and email support, ensuring prompt and effective communication.
- Maintain up-to-date service record to enhance operational efficiency.
- Plan, setup and provide on-site support with customer events and hires.
- Conduct both preventative and remedial service calls to uphold system integrity.
- Provide training on-site to the end user
- To become fully conversant with all areas of the business and office procedures.
- To be flexible in order to undertake the many different areas of work that are required, such as project work, producing reports, producing "how to documents" etc.
- Adhere to relevant Health & Safety and codes of conduct in the workplace and onsite.
- Responsible for company vehicles, tools and stock.
- Collaborate with installation engineers to facilitate the commissioning of AV and VC systems.
- Candidates will be required to travel to customers and suppliers sites as and when required, including central London.
(Audio-Visual Support Engineer) - Position Requirements
- Proven track record in audio-visual service and technical Support Engineering
- Proficiency in commercial audio-visual and videoconferencing systems, including Teams, Zoom and Google Meet.
- Strong PC skills, including familiarity with Creston Toolbox, Extron Global Configurator and audio DSP software programs like Biamp and QSC.
- Knowledge of Creston, Extron, Kramer switching and control systems, as well as professional audio solutions.
- Knowledge of AV cameras such as Avercam, Logitech and Sony PTZ
- Experience of video recording and editing beneficial but not mandatory.
- Ability to read and comprehend technical documents including system schematics.
- Understand network terminology and topologies
- Must possess a full valid driving license and be eligible to work in the EU.
- Be prepared to work both individually and as a team member
- Possess exceptional interpersonal skills for professional and courteous customer and colleague interactions.
- Have the ability to successfully work under pressure and to deadlines.
- Be dependable and punctual and have an adaptable approach to work.
(Audio-Visual Support Engineer) - Position Remuneration
- Salary £28k - £35k depending on experience
- 9am - 5pm
- Monday to Friday
- Long-term Sickness cover
