Digital Waffle is looking for an Audio Video Analyst to join a fantastic Law Firm based in the heart of London! This is a fantastic opportunity for a budding AV Analyst to take ownership of requests and incidents that have been assigned to the AV team, and to deliver resolutions.
Role Overview

• Provide support for audiovisual (AV) meeting rooms and events.
• Tasks involve managing meeting requests from initial acceptance through scheduling, setup, operation, and teardown.
• Ensure prompt action on all requests by actively monitoring the AV inbox.
• Promptly address incidents and seek proactive improvements.
• Recommend enhancements to existing processes or propose new ones.
• Handle coordination, scheduling, launching, management, and troubleshooting of cloud collaboration services such as Zoom, MS Teams, and Webex.
• Administer cloud collaboration services as service owners.
• Record requests, incidents, and work performed in the IT ticketing system.
• Resolve faults in AV systems and services, escalating when necessary.
• Maintain effective communication with teammates, lawyers, business services employees, clients, and vendors.
• Support various projects including new buildouts, implementation of AV kits, technology testing, and IT projects affecting AV systems/services.
• Collaborate with teams across the firm to deliver seamless AV services.
• Lead or provide backup support for firm-wide multi-point video conferences.
• Undertake tasks related to AV media recording, duplication, and basic editing.
• Manage inventory of AV equipment and supplies, ensuring organised storage space and timely replacement of non-functional items.
• Keep AV equipment and storage areas clean, organised, and well-maintained.
• Provide individual instruction and support for equipment setup and operation to partners, lawyers, employees, administrators, and clients.

Requirements

• 2-4 years working in a front like AV Analyst role
• Proficient in the administration and management of cloud collaboration platforms, notably Zoom and MS Teams.
• Familiarity with conference room booking systems and IT ticketing platforms.
• Skilled in using Cisco TMS and Zoom Device Management tools.
• Possess CTS certification or other relevant certifications in the AV industry or related technologies.
• Previous experience working in a law firm setting.
• Proven track record in providing daily audiovisual support for meetings and events in corporate or professional services settings.
• Experience overseeing major client events held in specialised venues like auditoriums.
• Proficiency in using Adobe Premiere for video editing tasks.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assemble computer and AV equipment, including monitors, which may weigh up to 40 pounds.
• Demonstrable understanding of LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and network principles in the delivery of AV service.
• Ability to operate and provide service using Windows, Apple, Crestron, BiAmp, Shure, and Cisco devices and products.

Working Hours

• Following initial onboarding and training, employees may be assigned regular start times, either as early shifts (between 7-8 am) or late shifts (between 9-11 am), as needed for departmental coverage.
• Occasional overtime, weekend, or holiday work may be necessary, requiring flexibility with a standard 40-hour workweek.
• Given the essential nature of this role, all staff members are expected to work on-site regularly. Remote or agile working arrangements are not suitable for this position.
