Full time hours (Monday to Friday)

Due to recent growth an exciting opportunity has arisen for an Audit & Accounts Senior to join one of our reputable clients based in the Northamptonshire area. In this role your time will be split between Audit (50%) and Accounts (50%) dealing with SME clients with a focus on running smaller Audits.

For the right candidate there is a real opportunity to progress through the firm who are willing to provide training/ study support as needed.

 

Duties and responsibilities for the Audit and Accounts Seniorrole include:

• Preparation of accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders.
• Undertaking / overseeing several audits throughout the year (planning through to completion).
• Preparation of self-assessment tax returns (desirable not essential).
• Dealing with day-to-day queries from clients in an efficient and timely manner.

 

Skills and experience required for the Audit and Accounts Seniorrole:

• Be ACCA/ACA qualified or qualified by experience.
• Have practice sector experience at senior level.
• Have experience dealing with audit, accounting, and tax requirements for SME Clients.
• A high level of confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy.
• The ability to self-manage and self-motivate.
• The ability to be flexible and adaptable.
• Strong IT skills, PC literate.
