Audit and Accounts Director

Vaisto Recruitment is working in Partnership with a Top 20 accountancy practice in their search for an Audit and Accounts Director / Partner to join their established Liverpool office.  This is a newly created role which will work alongside the Liverpool Partners and wider Partnership team, to support the firms continued growth and development.  

The ideal candidate will be a Director, or experienced Senior Manager ready to take a step up. Extensive experience in general practice is essential. An audit background is also desirable. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for a client portfolio, developing key client relationships and championing excellence in client service
• Ensuring work is completed in a timely manner to the expected high standards through successful management and delegation to managers and the wider team
• Collaborating closely with the Partners in business development and networking opportunities

Audit & Accounts Director / Partner - Essential Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in managing a client portfolio at Senior Manager or Director level within an accounting practice.
• Demonstrable success in business development and client acquisition.
• Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to mentor and guide a team.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring effective client relations.
• A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
