Your new role
This is a 50/50 Audit and Accounts splitrole where you will be responsible for overseeing and preparing year-end,management accounts, VAT and tax returns for a diverse portfolio of clients,reporting into managers alongside your work. There is also the opportunity toget involved with producing cash flows and forecasting on the accounts side.Alongside your accounts work, you will take an active part in all areas of anaudit from planning through to completion. Day-to-day duties will also includetraining the more junior members within the firm and developing strong clientknowledge and relationships, providing insightful advice and guidance.
What you'll need to succeed
The firm is seeking a professionalaccounts and audit senior who possesses previous experience within practice,preparing statutory accounts, management accounts, tax and VAT return as wellas being able to confidently lead audit engagements with some exposure totraining junior team members. You will be ACA/ACCA/AAT qualified or qualifiedby experience. However, the firm will consider a part-qualified/finalistcandidate as well. To succeed in this role, you will need strong knowledge ofaccountancy software whilst being eager to learn and progress professionallywithin the firm, which will allow you to benefit from the comprehensive supporton offer.
