A highly reputable firm of chartered accountants based in Bristol has a requirement for an Audit and Accounts Senior Accountant to join their team in a key position in this growing office in a role providing audit, accounts, tax and wider services to a varied client base.

Client Details

Based in central Bristol this chartered firm acts for very wide ranging clients across varying industries acting for wide ranging industry sector sole trader, partnerships and limited company OMBs, SMEs with clients from £250k - £1million plus turnovers whilst also acting for a significant number or larger clients across larger corporates with turnovers in excess of £40million. Industries are wide ranging and varied to cover manufacturing, construction, printing as a few examples and they also act for charities and not for profit clients There is therefore the whole range of clients to mould client work and portfolios accordingly dependent on the skill set, preference and motivations of the right people. Therefore professionals with an entirely accounts/tax focused background professional are of equal interest to those bring mixed audit/accounts background as well. A mix of remote/home working to office involvement can also work well with a minimum of two days in the office per week. The firm also offers flexible hours and competitive benefits.

Description

Joining the firm as an Audit and Accounts Senior Accountant based out of the firms Bristol offices you will take on increasing responsibility for managing the full hands on provision of audit (circa 1 - 3 months of the year on audit) accounts, tax and wider general practice services to a mixed and wide ranging client base. As well as managing the hands on provision of services to your clients, in both a hands on and review role you will look to develop added value relationships with your clients, carving a key role within this office and firm working with managers and directors on planning and advisory work. You will help assisting within managing a wider team, reviewing work and supporting junior staff in their development. There will be scope to carve a key position within this growing office and progress in your career.

Profile

You may be ACA or ACCA qualified with a career background developed within accountancy practice as an Audit and Accounts Senior Accountant. You will have a recent background working for an accountancy practice, in both a hands on and/or review capacity overseeing the delivery of audit, accounts, tax services and wider services to a mixed client base of limited companies, SMEs and OMBs, sole traders and partnerships.

Job Offer

Circa £40,000 - £48,000 dependent on the background experience and level of the right professional, plus benefits.
