Spire Shawfair Park Hospital is looking to recruit an Audit and Governance Lead to ensure that there is effective and accurate management of all clinical and non-clinical governance activities within the Spire Edinburgh Hospitals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To develop, monitor and maintain systems to enable departments to achieve full compliance with HIS standards
- To develop monitor and maintain systems to ensure the effective production of Governance reports
- To analyse data required to ensure timely submission of accurate data to inform SMT, HoD’s and Spire Healthcare corporate
- Contribute continuously to the organisational development in line with Hospital and Corporate objectives
- Develop own knowledge and practice and assist others to continually professionally develop
- Ensure a working environment and culture that actively improves health, safety and security
- Communicate clinical and non-clinical governance priorities and quality improvement priorities to the line manager and Director of Clinical Services in-line with business needs
Who we're looking for:
- Experience of managing the delivery of a Governance service in Health or Health and Social Care settings
- Previous experience in quality, audit or governance
- Previous experience of managing governance, quality improvement and risk management
- Sound knowledge of legislation requirements for registration
- Participation in strategic planning and development
- Experience in providing training and supervision
- Evidence of being involved in the management of change and supporting strategic management initiatives
