Our client, a firm of Accountants, is currently seeking an Audit Assistant to join their dynamic and progressive Plymouth team on a full-time, permanent basis. This rapidly evolving company maintains a substantial workforce and provides a plethora of promising career opportunities and progression.

The Audit Assistant position is ideal for an individual who is currently pursuing their qualifications and seeks to gain additional experience and exposure. Within this role, you will be continually supported by a dedicated learning and development team as you progress with your studies. This Audit Assistant role offers both, hybrid & flexible work arrangement.

The responsibilities:

• Execute fundamental compliance tasks with precision and attention to detail.
• Prepare computations for senior staff review.
• Manage workload efficiently within your allocated chargeable time.
• Offer on-site support for our audit clients, encompassing planning, day-to-day workload management, and client interaction.
• Engage in audit assignments, fostering robust relationships with both new and longstanding clients.
• Collaborate with fellow members of the audit team and the broader department as needed to deliver top-tier client service.
• Be open to occasional travel requirements as you engage more closely with specific audit clients.

The candidate:

• AAT qualified or its equivalent.
• Currently studying further professional studies, such as ACA, ACCA, CA, or similar qualifications.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Strong eagerness to learn and technical proficiency.
