The Role:
As a key member of our Audit department, the Assistant Manager role involves extensive participation in audit fieldwork, including planned substantive and analytical audit procedures, often conducted on-site at client premises. You will shoulder the responsibility of planning and completing audit assignments, ensuring thorough documentation in audit files. Crafting statutory financial statements from client data, you'll pinpoint high-level risk areas and communicate concerns to the Partner/Director/Manager, exercising a significant degree of judgment. Your evolving role will progress to planning and finalizing audit assignments for PDM review.
To foster personal development, this role offers the chance to lead, manage, motivate, and coach team members. Collaborating within a dynamic team of dedicated professionals, you'll contribute to a supportive environment focused on achieving collective excellence. As you take on a mentorship role for colleagues in the early stages of their careers, the ideal candidate will be ACCA or ACA qualified, fostering collaborative engagement with both trainees and Managers.
