My client are a leading tax, accountancy and business advisory firm, they have an exciting opportunity for an Audit Assistant Manager to join their ever growing Audit team!
Location: London
Job Type: Full-time, permanent
Responsibilities:
- Be a key part of Assurance teams undertaking assignments, including opportunities to lead the on-site element of the work
- Contribute to internal and external quality assurance
- Provide adequate briefing, supervision, and "on the job" training for junior team members
- Review work completed by junior members of the team
- Ensure Assurance quality at all times
- Work closely with Audit Managers
- Ensure each assignment is undertaken in accordance with the pre-assignment instructions
- Act as day to day point of contact for the client
- Attend staff meetings and training
Qualifications/Experience
- ACA/ACCA Qualified (Essential)
- Experience within a Top 100 accountancy firm (Essential)
- Knowledge of IFRS (Desirable)
- Have good working knowledge of UK GAAP
