- Pay: £23.00- £28.50 per hour PAYE or £28.85- £35.90 per hour via an umbrella company).
We are currently seeking several Audit candidates for a 6-week temporary assignment to assist with an important audit project. This role is ideal for an individual with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of audit procedures. You will be working alongside a senior financial controller to assist them with this audit project.
Day to day of the role:
- Conduct thorough reviews of financial records, transactions, and control processes.
- Assist in the planning and execution of audit procedures.
- Identify and document audit issues and recommendations.
- Collaborate with the audit team to prepare detailed reports on audit findings.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable standards and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather necessary information and provide audit findings.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in auditing, finance, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and auditing software, ideally intermediate to advance on excel or google sheets.
- Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance are preferred.
