SalaryI'm working on a brand new Audit Assistant role with one of the markets most recognised Chartered Accountants, this is for a multi-site practice and can either be based in Colchester or Ipswich. The successful Audit Assistant will be joining the firm at a really good time as they've just seen an influx of new clients which is set to continue. You will be joining a supportive and hardworking which you'll help support with preparing financial statements, accounts preparation, conducting audit assignments and preparing tax computations.
Key responsibilities of the Audit Assistant role will include:
- Conducting Audit assignments across a range of industries
- Support the Audit team with preparing financial statements
- Assist with all accounts preparation duties
- Help senior team leaders with preparing tax computations as well as concise Audit plans
- Support with VAT and Tax submissions when needed
- Ad hoc duties when needed
The successful Audit Assistant will ideally be studying towards ACA/ACCA or equivalent with experience working in practice. You'll ideally have prior experience working in Audit, however, as this is a new and varied role anyone coming from a general practice background will be considered and it's well worth having a conversation. You will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills and maintaining client engagement whilst showing your drive and ambition to progress your career.
