The Role:
As a Quality and Compliance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role within our client's quality and compliance team, operating in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining, developing, and enhancing the Quality and Environmental Management Systems in alignment with our client's overall objectives. This involves the upkeep of ISO 9001:2015 and 14001:2015 accreditations and working towards 27001:2013. You will be involved in internal auditing, external audit facilitation, GDPR procedure maintenance, and managing security incidents and threats, including root cause analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and document internal departmental and ISO audits, maintaining and communicating the internal audit schedule to Management.
- Present Management meeting topics related to the performance of Management systems.
- Assist in managing our client's risk registers.
- Communicate non-conformances found during the audit process to the Quality Assurance Officer for improvement plans.
- Organize ISO management meetings, including taking meeting minutes.
- Support the Head of Compliance & Operations in reporting to Senior Management to ensure compliance with ISO 14001 and 9001 standards.
- Assist in creating and updating Company Policies relevant to the department, including implementing new Policies.
- Monitor waste costs and waste carriers, ensuring waste transfer notes are obtained and organizing ad hoc disposal requirements.
- Perform GDPR audits and investigate security incidents and identified threats, including root cause analysis.
- Support the Head of Compliance & Operations in completing Environmental & Regulatory reporting.
- Manage Business Continuity plans, including disaster recovery testing.
- Implement Company Compliance training, including ISO and GDPR.
- Assist in Supplier annual reviews and due diligence activities.
Candidate Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
- ISO 9001 & 14001 Internal auditor certification.
- GDPR Data Protection expertise.
- ISO 27001 Internal auditor certification.
- Knowledge of Legal, Regulatory, and Statutory requirements.
