A full-time position is available for an individual to be part of the Corporate Services Department.
We provide services to clients in a variety of sectors and perform audits of charities, solicitors and various other specialisms in addition to statutory audit.
The role:
Working in our Weybridge office, assisting the Responsible Individuals (RIs) and Senior Manager in the delivery of a full range of audit services to a wide spectrum of clients. In addition to the management of a small portfolio of clients you will assist the Senior Manager and RIs in the management of the portfolio and the management and development of the audit team. Reporting to the Senior Manager and RIs you will be involved in the management of the audit process from planning through to completion.
The main tasks are:
· Liaising with clients to make arrangements for the annual audit;
· Audit planning, allocating work, briefing and controlling the audit team on assignments;
· Preparation and completion of audit working papers;
· Review of working papers prepared by audit seniors / juniors;
· Preparation and review of financial statements;
· Summarising audit issues and outstanding points to the Senior Manager and RIs;
· Identifying internal control weaknesses and communication of weakness through the preparation of the management letter;
· Preparation of audit finalisation documents;
· Delivery of final accounts and audit documentation to clients;
· Various ad hoc admin tasks such as raising fees and assisting the Senior Manager with admin tasks and internal processes as necessary;
· Providing training to audit seniors / juniors.
Required:
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisation skills.
Must be prepared to work in a team.
Would suit applicants that are ACCA or ACA qualified with relevant external audit experience.
What we offer in return:
Salary range: Between £55,000 and £60,000 dependent on experience, qualifications and your 'know how’.
