This firm are currently looking to add a Audit Senior to their stable established accountancy team.

Essential role requirements;

• Possession of ACA/ACCA/CA qualification is a must.
• Substantial experience in auditing and accounting, preferably with a strong grasp of UKGAAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is essential.
• Eagerness to continuously develop your skills and pursue career growth opportunities

Responsibilities of The Audit Senior;

• Demonstrating dedication to work and team success, with a positive attitude and proactive approach to improving processes.
• Providing and receiving regular, constructive feedback to enhance personal and team growth.
• Influencing and shaping activities, internally and/or externally, to drive positive change.
• Coaching junior staff by sharing experience and knowledge effectively.
• Offering on-the-job training to develop auditing skills and familiarity with the firm's audit methodology.
• Actively participating in service line, office, and firm-wide activities.
• Serving as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring prompt and effective communication.
• Showcasing strong writing, research, and presentation skills, proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Anticipating client needs and effectively communicating in both written and verbal exchanges.
• Acting with integrity, always prioritizing the Firm's best interests.
• Assisting in planning, executing, and finalizing audit assignments, seeking input for areas of concern.
• Demonstrating understanding of risk types and adhering to the Firm's risk management policies and applicable regulations.
• Managing risk in client interactions, including reputational, operational, and credit risks.
• Recognizing the impact of work quality and efficiency on the Firm's ability to serve clients.
• Preparing work for Manager/Partner review, highlighting issues and proposing solutions.
• Identifying business development opportunities and contributing to sales efforts.
• Applying solution-oriented problem-solving approaches based on industry knowledge and research.
• Identifying areas for process improvement in client operations and preparing Audit Findings Reports.
• Taking ownership of budget monitoring, ensuring Manager understanding of any deviations.
