This firm are currently looking to add a Audit Senior to their stable established accountancy team.

Essential role requirements;
- Possession of ACA/ACCA/CA qualification is a must.
- Substantial experience in auditing and accounting, preferably with a strong grasp of UKGAAP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is essential.

- Coaching junior staff by sharing experience and knowledge effectively.
- Offering on-the-job training to develop auditing skills and familiarity with the firm's audit methodology.
- Actively participating in service line, office, and firm-wide activities.
- Serving as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring prompt and effective communication.
- Showcasing strong writing, research, and presentation skills, proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Anticipating client needs and effectively communicating in both written and verbal exchanges.
- Acting with integrity, always prioritizing the Firm's best interests.
- Assisting in planning, executing, and finalizing audit assignments, seeking input for areas of concern.
- Demonstrating understanding of risk types and adhering to the Firm's risk management policies and applicable regulations.
- Managing risk in client interactions, including reputational, operational, and credit risks.
- Recognizing the impact of work quality and efficiency on the Firm's ability to serve clients.
- Preparing work for Manager/Partner review, highlighting issues and proposing solutions.
- Identifying business development opportunities and contributing to sales efforts.
- Applying solution-oriented problem-solving approaches based on industry knowledge and research.
- Identifying areas for process improvement in client operations and preparing Audit Findings Reports.
- Taking ownership of budget monitoring, ensuring Manager understanding of any deviations.
