Audit Trainee

We are looking for an Audit Trainee to join an accountancy client in Derby.
This role will be assisting the team in the delivery of statutory audit services for our Owner Managed Business, and Not-for-Profit Client portfolio. It's a great opportunity to be exposed to different areas of the audit process, and develop professional skills, whilst being supported through the qualification.
An insight to the role:
· Getting to know clients and building strong relationships, helping your understanding of how finance teams operate, preparing audit planning documentation for review, carry out internal control, system and walkthrough tests and attend simple stock stakes.
· Carry out audit tests as part of a team on site at the client premises.
· Reviewing financial statements for accuracy
· Undertaking a training contract (ACA/ACCA) with a view to becoming a chartered accountant within 3 years.
We are looking for someone who has:
· AAT qualification or educated at degree level.
· The ability to listen and understand, to show up every day with passion.
· Be driven to succeed, take initiative and want results.
The salary for this role is up to £25,000 plus study support.
