About Our Client
Our client is a well-established chartered accountancy practice based in Yorkshire. Large independent with multiple offices across the area and over 300 specialists providing a range of services.
Job Description
- Conduct audits in accordance with accepted standards.
- Collaborate with team members to carry out tasks efficiently.
- Prepare and present detailed audit reports.
- Ensure all client needs are met promptly and effectively.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Assist in the development of audit plans and schedules.
- Maintain the highest levels of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Mentor/Lead a team of junior colleagues, supporting, coaching and sharing your technical skills.
The Successful Applicant
A successful applicants should have:
- A strong background in the professional services industry. Minimum 2 years experience within practice.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and auditing standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A qualification in accountancy or a related field (Working towards or completed ACCA/ACA)
