If this sounds like you, I am working with a fantastic school based in Rainham who are seeking passionate and empathetic individuals to work with their learners who have Autism. You will be heavily involved in supporting their social and academic development as an Autism Support Assistant and assisting with their day-to-day learning.
Autism Support Assistant | What are we looking for?
- Minimum of a 2:1 degree from a Top 20 UK University.
- Ideally have some experience working with children who has additional and complex needs.
- Ability to relate to children and maintain effective relationships.
- Understanding of the importance of safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school.
- Aspirations to become an Educational or Clinical Psychologist.
- Planning and implementing work programmes with pupils who have ASC on a 1:1 basis.
- Promote the inclusion of all pupils, ensuring they have equal opportunities to learn and develop.
- Work closely alongside SEND professionals, Behaviour Specialists, and Speech and Language Therapists.
