You will be heavily involved in supporting their social and academic development as an Autism Support Assistant and assisting with their day-to-day learning.
Autism Support Assistant | What are we looking for?
- Minimum of a 2:1 degree from a Top 20 UK University.
- Ideally have some experience working with children who has additional and complex needs.
- Ability to relate to children and maintain effective relationships.
- Understanding of the importance of safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school.
- Aspirations to become an Educational or Clinical Psychologist.
- Planning and implementing work programmes with pupils who have ASC on a 1:1 basis.
- Promote the inclusion of all pupils, ensuring they have equal opportunities to learn and develop.
- Work closely alongside SEND professionals, Behaviour Specialists, and Speech and Language Therapists.
