Automation Qa Test Engineer - £50,000

I'm looking for an automation Tester/ Lead to join an amazing FinTech for Good business who are developing products that make a real difference to peoples lives.

They have an office in Cornwall and although you can work predominantly remotely they are keen to employ people around the Cornwall/ Devon area where possible.

They are in the process of bringing the development of their software in house and are looking to bring on an experienced Test/ QA Engineer with automation skills who can join as their first dedicated QA and get some proper process in place around QA/ Testing and start to look at implementing automation. They are planning to grow the QA/Test team very quickly so you will be able to hire people to take the pressure off on the manual testing side of things to free you up to focus more on getting automation set up (you have a blank canvass in terms of tools and tech).

Their CTO is very bought into the importance of quality and testing and is very invested in building a quality product. You'll work closely with their internal and outsourced development team, and be very hands on, initially carrying out manual testing across their web-based product and then starting to build out the automation as you start to grow the team.

Their ideal person will be an experienced Test Engineer/ QA Engineer with Automation skills who is excited to have the opportunity to go in and build up testing and automation from the ground up and have the opportunity to move into more of a lead role over time.
