Automation Systems Engineer (Contract - 6 Months with Potential Extension)

Location: Remote with occasional on-site travel
Contract Duration: 6 Months (with potential extension)

Are you a self-driven and enthusiastic Automation Systems Engineer looking for your next exciting challenge? We have an incredible opportunity for a motivated professional to join our client's dynamic team on a 6-month contract, with the potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Ignition SCADA applications independently and effectively.
• Utilize Modbus communication protocols for seamless integration and control.
• Provide comprehensive client support both on-site and remotely, with occasional travel to client sites as required.
• Participate in commissioning processes to ensure the successful deployment of Automation Systems.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience working as an Automation Engineer.
• Strong ability to design Ignition SCADA applications without supervision.
• Solid understanding and experience with Modbus communication.
• Scripting and Python experience is highly desirable but not essential.
• Previous experience in commissioning Automation Systems.
• Experience in mission-critical environments is essential; data centre experience is a plus.
• An EU passport is advantageous but not mandatory.
