This assignment is due to commence ASAP for approximately 12 weeks in the first instance, on a Full-Time basis.
Duties include:
- Facilitate technical AV requirements for department and clients as directed by AV Delivery Lead, supporting teaching, meetings, and events.
- Support ongoing installation and maintenance projects under AV Technical Development Lead.
- Engage with diverse stakeholders, striving to exceed expectations.
- Set up and operate AV systems in lecture theatres, teaching, and meeting spaces, providing first-line troubleshooting.
- Support delivery of teaching, meetings, and events in-person, online, or hybrid.
- Manage Service Desk platform, update Asset Management systems, and monitor lecture capture systems.
- Assist in Audio Visual Development Project Charter, including preventive maintenance, research into new technologies, documentation creation, system design and programming, manual creation, and training sessions. Collaborate with IT Department and external partners for successful AV integration.
Seeking candidates with comprehensive knowledge of Audio Visual technologies and systems, coupled with strong IT skills across Mac and Windows platforms. Must excel in troubleshooting, customer service, and technical support, particularly in academic or corporate settings. Experience in collaborative teamwork and familiarity with multi-platform unified communication systems like Zoom and MS Teams is essential. Desirable qualifications include cross-platform editing, training experience, and certifications in AV and project management methodologies.
