An exciting opportunity has arisen at the NSPCC Together for Childhood Centre in Grimsby for an enthusiastic and dynamic Level 2Children's Services Practitioner to join our team.
The successful candidate will have an appropriate qualification in Health and Social Care, Childcare, Early Years, or Youth and Community work at NVQ or Diploma level.
You must have previous experience of direct work with children and families in a social care, health or community setting.
We are looking for a skilled and motivated practitioner who is committed to the highest professional standards.

Together for Childhood is an exciting, ambitious and challenging opportunity to create safer communities for children and families, in the East & West Marsh wards. Grimsby is one of four UK sites taking this innovative approach forward.
Together for Childhood is a place-based initiative working in partnership with a broad range of local agencies and the community, focusing on prevention and early help activity to stop child abuse and neglect from occurring in the first place.
The successful candidate will undertake activities within the East and West Marsh areas of Grimsby as part of Together for Childhood and deliver some programmes of work with individual families and groups.
You will be expected to identify risk and wider safeguarding concerns and have up-to-date knowledge of childcare legislation and best practice.
