We believe in the power of travel. It broadens horizons for our customers and colleagues. New roles to explore, places to live, communities to join. It’s yours for the taking.
Within the Commercial Division, supporting the Aviation Planning Manager, your role as Aviation Planning Coordinator will be to optimise the commercial flying plans for Summer and Winter seasons, ensuring they consider the capacity requirements of all key stakeholders.

This role works extremely closely with the Schedules Planning team to ensure that the commercial flying programmes planned on TUI Airways accommodate all operational requirements, and you will also manage changes to these programmes and flying on external carriers, ensuring all commercial and operational factors are taken into account throughout the entire planning cycle.

The role is based in Luton, but at TUI we believe work is something you do not somewhere you go. Therefore, we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements for this role and the successful candidate will work a blend of office and home working. Please note the closing date for applications is Sunday 21st April.

  • Assist with the loading of the relevant scheduling systems and maintain the master flying programme until handed over to the Schedules Planning team at the appropriate point in the planning calendar.
  • Develop and maintain in-house tools and reporting to improve business performance. Assist with the development of optimisation tools to improve efficiency and modelling capability of the Aviation Planning process.
  • Tactically coordinate commercial programme changes on both in-house and external aviation liaising with all key stakeholders as required to identify the optimal solutions that best meet their commercial requirements as well as all operational requirements.

You will also be responsible for providing in depth ad-hoc analysis and reporting as requested by Aviation Planning and wider business. Your insights will contribute to informed decision-making and strategic planning across the organisation.
