Avionics Logistics Specialist (RCM - Repair Cycle Management) - Gatwick
Key Responsibilities:
RCM Specialists are responsible for all process steps for RO’s under their management, which includes, but is not limited to:-
Escalating inbound / outbound mis-shipments + exceptions.
Working with supplier base to obtain quotes, status updates, milestones and query responses.
Quotation evaluation and cost approval up-to financial authorisation limit for the role. This includes cost management to hold suppliers to contractual terms, warranty enforcement, making commercial challenges and identifying customer re-charges.
Customer communication and queries, including Submitting re-charges to customer and handling subsequent queries and approvals, processing requests for billing, and status reporting if required.
Ensuring all managed RO’s are appropriately actioned and updated in the relevant IT systems to allow them to be delivered in and close out of WIP.
Resolve open events preventing vendor invoices being paid.
Ownership of repair cycle, including resolving issues with customer and internal supply chain which hold up TAT of a RO; apply supplier, customer and internal escalation.
Serving as first point of escalation for team member queries and cost approval checks.
Provide coaching, guidance and on the job training to team members.
Undertake on-site customer / supplier visits as required. To include score carding, customer feedback and negotiation of to resolve issues.
Management of open WIP, applying effective prioritisation to Priority RO’s, and supporting the RCM Expedite team as required
