Accept Recruitment is currently looking for Bakery Assistant to join our client's team at the Coventry site. This is a dynamic and fast-growing business, offering a fantastic opportunity for the right individual.
Role Summary:
As a Bakery Assistant, you'll support the Bakery Manager in preparing and producing bakery products. Your duties will include mixing, baking, cutting sponges, and maintaining cleanliness in the warehouse factory alongside a team of 5-10 people. Knowledge of Bakery Equipment maintenance is beneficial.
Responsibilities:
- Handling bags of flour for mixing (12.5kg)
- Ensure bakery items meet high-quality standards.
- Prepare work surfaces and clean trays for sponge storage.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the bakery premises.
- Foster a positive working environment with team members.

- Ensure compliance with food processing laws and regulations.
- Demonstrate good organisation and time management skills.
Requirements:
- Ability to work independently and self-manage.
- Previous experience in large-scale manufacturing is desirable.
- Effective communication and ability to follow instructions.
- Technical skills in bakery product preparation and handling.
- Willingness to learn equipment breakdown and reassembly for cleaning and maintenance.
- Attention to detail and a hardworking attitude.
- Capability to use large ovens (training provided).
Shifts and pay rates:
- Sunday – Thursday
- 7:00 – 15:00
- £11.79ph
