Bakery Cleaner

Job description
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Caretaker to join our team. As a Caretaker, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facility. This will be a varied role and will be predominantly be focus on cleaning the bakery but will include assisting with packing good and stock takes etc. This is an important role in ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our staff and visitors, alike.

Responsibilities
- Perform commercial cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing
- Clean and disinfect restrooms and common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is needed
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines

Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and products, including chemical handling
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: £11.44 per hour depending on age and experience
