Our client specialises in baling straw for energy production and producing compost primarily for mushroom cultivation. They operate a fleet of baling and chasing equipment that serves North Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire.

What you’ll be doing:

In this role you will be joining a friendly team as a Baler Operator, our client prides themselves on customer satisfaction, setting very high standards and attention to detail. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating baler machinery to compress and bind agricultural materials such as hay, straw, or silage into bales. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Therefore, we are looking for people who:

• Have experience operating Baler machinery essential.
• Have experience executing general farm duties during a busy harvest season.
• Have a keen interest in agriculture and ideally have a couple of years of experience working on a farm.
• Can work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Are passionate about the industry and ready to take on exciting new challenges in your work.
• Understand harvest hours is important but regular rest days will be given.
• Can hit the ground running, be flexible and adaptable.
• Can deliver high standards of work and take pride in maintaining their machine.
• Have an eagerness to learn with a strong work ethic, the ability to work in a team is essential.
• Have a full UK driver’s License.

Job Specifics:

Contract Duration: 3 Months, July-September with the possibility to work beyond harvest on maize and potatoes for the right candidate.
