As a Baler Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining balers used in the recycling and waste management process. Your role will contribute to the efficient processing of recyclable materials and the overall sustainability of our operations.
- Baler Operation: Safely operate and monitor the baler equipment to process recyclable materials into compact bales.
- Quality Control: Ensure that the bales meet quality standards and contribute to maintaining the high quality of recycled materials.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on baler equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs. Report any significant issues promptly to maintenance staff.
- Safety: Strictly adhere to safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Report any safety concerns or incidents.
- Waste Handling: Assist in sorting recyclable materials and ensure that only suitable materials are processed in the baler.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of daily operations, inspections, and maintenance activities.
- Previous experience as a Baler Operator or in a similar role within waste management or recycling operations.
- Familiarity with baler equipment and recycling processes.
- Strong commitment to safety, environmental responsibility, and quality.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
