Building Maintenance Assistant
Hours: 36 hours per week. Permanent contract
Location: Shropshire, Staffordshire, Telford.
Salary: £24,317.66 to £27,103.05 per annum + Essential car user allowance of up to £1,239 per annum

The Role:
At Wrekin Housing Group we take pride in providing top-notch safe homes that the people of our community so deserve. As a Building Maintenance Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in upholding our standards of excellence.
We are looking for someone who is customer focused with people skills and enjoys working with elderly people and people who need support. You will be assisting with minor plumbing, carpentry and finishes along with areas of health and safety.
If you don’t have the right level of experience, don’t worry, we will train, coach, and mentor you to become the best version of yourself.

Core responsibilities:
- Building safety compliance
- Minor repairs, maintenance and decoration
- Contractor management
- Vacant house preparation
- Responsible for the upkeep of the building and compliance
- Flexibility to cover other locations as required
- Availability of own vehicle on site.
