Band 2 Audio Typist

Brook Street (UK) Ltd is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Audio Typist to join our client's dynamic office at the Royal Victoria Hospital. This position offers a unique chance to become an integral part of a public sector organization, providing a comprehensive service to the agency.
We are seeking a professional candidate with a strong background in audio typing. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing a high-quality typing service for both inpatient and outpatient letters, demonstrating proficiency in word processing and audio typing.
Responsibilities include:

• Typing various correspondence and documents, both audio and copy typing, as assigned by the Team Leader.
• Transcribing audio recordings into patient case note entries, correspondence, and discharge summaries, ensuring accurate data entry into relevant electronic systems.
• Completing paperwork and managing patient schedules.
• Booking follow-up appointments in accordance with Trust Policy.
• Assisting with the organization and planning of clinics and meetings.
• Handling internal/external post, including fax and email communications.
• Retrieving and tracking patient case notes and test results from various sources.
• Answering phones, taking messages, and responding to inquiries from GPs, patients, and other health service staff.
• Maintaining records in adherence to Trust policies and procedures.
• Printing and photocopying correspondence and documentation as directed.
• Monitoring and managing stock levels, ensuring necessary supplies are ordered.

This is a Monday to Friday role with a competitive hourly rate of £10.42, paid on a weekly basis.
