JOB SUMMARY/MAIN PURPOSE:
To assist the Procurement Compliance Manager in the operation of the PaLS Procurement Compliance Unit. The Unit is responsible for providing procurement advice on direct award contracts in accordance with HSC(F) 13/2022; collating responses to FOI requests and data integrity checks within a number of systems.
MAIN DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Data inputting into web based application.
- Utilising excel tools to carry out data integrity checks within data sets. Liaising with information owners regarding the correction of errors and missing information.
- Assisting in the collation and preparation of responses relating to Freedom of Information Act (2000) requests for Procurement and Logistics Service, on behalf of BSO.
- Liaising with, and providing assistance to, customers and colleagues on matters relating to the Procurement Compliance Unit.
- Maintaining electronic and manual filing systems
- Compiling data and information from both electronic and manual files for both internal and external use
- Using Office equipment e.g. scanning, photocopying
- Any other duties as required within the Band of the post
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
A minimum of 5 GCSE’s at Grade A-C to include Mathematics and English OR relevant NVQ Level 2 or GNVQ qualification plus 1 year’s relevant experience**
OR
Two (2) years relevant work-based experience**.
**Relevant experience should be within a general commercial/business environment and could include customer service, retail, clerical, and/or administration work.
