An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in our fast paced and busy Waiting List Booking Teams based at either Solihull or Good Hope Hospitals with one post based at our Appointment Centre, Yardley Green Road, Birmingham. The posts are permanent and Full time Monday - Friday 37.5 hours.
Main duties, tasks & skills required
As part of a large team of Waiting List Coordinators, the post holders will individually manage elective Waiting Lists for a variety of specialties, ensuring theatre lists are fully utilised by arranging Pre Op appointments and procedure dates. Working closely with the Team Leader and independently booking in accordance with policy and protocol guidelines. The post holder will also be co-ordinating email traffic and telephone queries from patients and stakeholders.

Qualifications
Essential
- Good General Education (eg. GCSE English and Maths A-C) GCSE Level 9-4
- Business Administration NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience in an administrative environment
Experience

- Experience of dealing with the Public/Customer service experience
- Experience of working with a range of Microsoft Office packages (eg. Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Experience of using IT systems
