SalaryTeam Support Healthcare are currently recruiting Community Registered General Nurses to provide community and hospital support for our clients in Bristol.
Location – Bristol
Hours – Full-time and part-time hours available
Pay rate –Up to £48 an hour
Main Duties/ Responsibilities
- Provide a comprehensive range of clinical nursing support including wound management, medicines management, end of life care and symptom control to housebound patients in their own homes and residential care settings.
- Perform comprehensive assessments of housebound patients nursing needs.
- Plan, implement and evaluate care delivery according to changing health needs.
- Collect and report information, maintaining accurate patient records in line with NMC recommendations and Trust policy.
- Participate in maintaining a safe, comfortable and therapeutic environment for all patients and carers.
- Involve patients and carers/family members in the planning and delivery of care.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to ensure needs are met with care input and support for ongoing care needs.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with patients and carers/family members consistent with their level of understanding and their culture.
- Respect confidential information obtained in professional practice and uphold the principles of Caldicott and the Data Protection Act.
- Complete documentation via the electronic patient record system in line with NMC guidelines
Essential requirements
- Be a NMC Registered Nurse
- Must hold a full UK driving license with access to a car
- 6 Months recent relevant UK experience within the last 3 years.
- You will need to pass an enhanced background check.
