Band 6, Mental Health Practitioner

Sanctuary Personnel is currently seeking experienced Band 6Mental Health Practitioners to take on new locum opportunities based in Prestwich.

Location: Prestwich

Contract Type: Locum, 3-month contract

Pay Rates: £26 per hour (assignment rate)

Shift Pattern: Core hours are 09:00 am - 17:00 pm, Monday - Friday, although flexibility around start & finish times is available for the right applicants. For example, 08:00 am - 18:00 pm (3-4 days), 08:00 am - 16:00 pm, 09:00 am - 18:00 pm etc. Part time considered.

Duties:

• Triage and review of safeguarding referrals
• Development of protection plans
• Advice and support in relation to any safeguarding concerns and completion of triage and Section 42 enquiries

Requirements of the Mental Health Practitioners:

• Degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing
  
• Valid NMC Registration
  
• Safeguarding adult expertise
  
• Knowledge and experience of undertaking Section 42 enquiries to lead safeguarding enquiries
  
• Able to travel and work on-site at Manchester CMHT’s
  
• Knowledge in legislation care act
