Job description

Job overview
Are you interested about working in mental health and supporting individuals to achieve their goals and live more fulfilling lives?
Are you keen to work a fascinating and ever-changing environment?
Are you curious, creative and always looking for new learning opportunities and ways to implement this into practice?
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Occupational Therapists to join our band 5 OT bank pool.
Working shifts are Monday- Friday 8-4, however there will be opportunities for weekend working subject to service needs. This will attract additional enhancements and flexible working opportunities.
We are looking for staff for occasional work or for a set period.
Langley Green consists of four wards and we care for 70 patients within these. We also have an Acute Day Service, CRHT and Haven Service. We are passionate about delivering patient-centred care and involve patient feedback in every decision and improvement we make.
Main duties of the job
The role will include assessment and delivery of evidence-based OT interventions, to facilitate wellbeing, and optimise independent functioning in self-care, productivity and leisure activities, from an occupational perspective.
We are looking therefore for people who will take the opportunities afforded by this, and who can foster effective working relationships with professionals and with service users.
Assessments and Interventions will take place in home environments, community settings and the in-patient ward, with flexibility of working required to meet service user needs.
This is a great opportunity to acquire new OT skills or consolidate existing
knowledge that is transferable across teams and service user groups.
Working for our organisation
We are a small and supportive OT Team. We will offer regular supervision to support you in the role
