Bank Hospital Porter/Maintenance Assistant – The Berkshire Independent Hospital - Bank Hours
In this role, you will be an integral part of a team who are committed to delivering the highest quality outcomes in a supported environment, where you will be valued for your skills and expertise.
With a strong focus on customer service, our Porters and Maintenance Teams provide a vital service in our hospital. You will be required to provide general porter services to all hospital departments.
- Working with medical gases
- Carrying our minor repairs and general DIY
- Daily van run
- Security checks
- Opening and closing the building
- Waste Handling
- Laundry
- Supervising contractors
- On call one week out of three
- Undertaking planned preventative maintenance
- Providing a postal service
- Early and late shift pattern
- Some weekend working will be required
This role is a bank position and therefore hours are flexible. You will need a full driving licence
